The story begins when a man named Dokgo who was living homeless at Seoul Station starts working part-time at a convenience store at night. The big bear-like man was unable to remember the past due to alcoholic dementia and his words and actions were slow raising doubts about whether he could deal with customers properly. However surprisingly he not only works pretty well but also becomes a strong worker who protects the night of convenience stores by strangely capturing the hearts of people around him.
As the work of an artist who is good at gradually embodying realistic characters and interactions between them characters with unique personalities and stories appear one after another in this novel to form a strange relationship. Like that a small convenience store in an alleyway used to be uncomfortable becomes a special space to comfort and share laughter in a hard life.
